Embossers
In this area of the line, the web is compressed between two cylinders, one of which is steel and bears a pattern that is transferred through pressure onto the web.
The embossing process is both functional and decorative. It combines the plies, giving the product bulk and softness. And Art Embossing allows custom decorations to be used, yielding an innovative and original product. In decoration, the latest development is Fusion Art Embossing, an innovative embossing concept born from collaboration between Fabio Perini S.p.A. and Perini Engraving S.r.l. This entirely new technique makes possible an unlimited variety of designs made of shapes, lines and dots, for superior quality products that are immediately recognizable.
Machines
The Embosser model 451C separately embosses two plies of tissue and joins them using a thin film of glue. Plies may be joined and embossed using Point-to-Point or DESL methods. With DESL, the deco-embossing option is also available.

The model 471C is a modular, versatile and easy to operate rubber/steel embosser for toilet roll or kitchen towel converting lines. Reaching a maximum speed of 700 mpm, it makes various kinds of single or double-ply products. The amount of bulkiness and softness in the end product can be varied by combining different embossing patterns in the web.

The 472B unit is designed to confer greater flexibility to standard toilet roll or kitchen towel converting lines. It impresses a decoration on two web plies (previously embossed or smooth), and bonds them using a gluing agent which may also be colored.

The 475C embossing-laminator is an extremely flexible unit for the production of high quality toilet rolls or kitchen towels in three different configurations. Embossing roll change is extremely quick, simple and safe. High embossing pressures can be attained and high pattern definition is guaranteed at a speed of up to 600 mpm with glue and 800 mpm without glue.

The model 477C for toilet rolls and kitchen towels separately embosses two plies and joins them together with a light application of glue. This highly flexible machine can be configured in three different ways, running at up to 700 mpm, and up to 800 mpm without glue.The steel embossing rolls can be replaced in about 20 minutes.

The model 478B for deco-embossed products, confers greater flexibility to toilet rolls and kitchen towels converting lines, reaching the max. speed of 700 mpm for the 2700-mm format. Thanks to our patented DECODESL design, converted products can be aesthetically similar to DESL.
Furthermore, this model allows very quick product change, because the embossing sleeve can be easily extracted.
